A licensed realtor with White-Spunner Realty, Inc., Mrs. Urquhart is active in numerous civic and charitable organizations. She has served as president of Leadership Mobile, the Junior League of Mobile, and Volunteer Mobile and is a former Chair of the UMS-Wright Board of Trustees. She currently serves on the boards of Mobile United, The Maritime Museum for the Gulf Coast, and the UMS-Wright Foundation. She is a former member of the advisory board of Wachovia Bank and the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce. Honored as alumna of the year by UMS-Wright, Sustainer of the Year by the Junior League of Mobile, and as a woman of achievement in public service by the YWCA, Mrs. Urquhart has also served her church, St. Paul’s, as a member of the vestry and president of the women of the church. She was honored for her community service by being named First Lady of Mobile 2004 by the Mobile chapter of Beta Sigma Phi and is a 2005 graduate of Leadership Alabama.
Mrs. Urquhart is a 1976 graduate of The University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she earned her degree in English and Mass Communications.
