Individually Distinct. Altogether Stronger.
Comprising three of the most dynamic research universities in the South and a world-class medical center, The University of Alabama System is Alabama’s largest employer and a major driver for economic, intellectual, and cultural growth. But the real benefit comes when the System acts as a single, unified entity that shares one common mission for the state of Alabama.
Finis St. John IV
Our entire UA System – UA, UAB, UAH and the UAB Health System – is dedicating all possible resources to reopen our campuses in a manner that will be the gold standard for colleges and universities across the nation. While we do not know when our students will return, when they do we will be ready to welcome them to the safest campuses in America. Chancellor Finis St. John has established a System-wide Task Force to meet our goals using strategies of all kinds: testing measures, enhanced cleaning, classroom procedures, housing policies, security and wellness programs, and more.

UA System Hotline
High ethical standards are vital to workplace morale and productivity, and maintaining them is a core value for The University of Alabama System. The Hotline enables members of the university community and third parties to anonymously inquire about or report actual or potential unethical, unsafe, prejudicial or unlawful behavior they know or believe to be occurring in the UA System.
The UA System’s Intercampus Interactive Telepresence System (IITS) is a statewide videoconferencing network. IITS has grown to become Alabama’s premier interactive telepresence network. IITS offers a convenient method for remote meetings, online learning, technical support for desktop and mobile devices, and more.
