On-campus activities resume in Fall 2020

The University of Alabama System — composed of UA, UAB, UAH and the UAB Health System — is on the front line of communication with media and the citizens of Alabama as we work together during this health crisis.
The University of Alabama System continues to closely monitor the COVID-19 outbreak. Today System officials issued guidance advising against any non-essential domestic travel at this time, particularly to large conferences with attendees from multiple states or locations that have declared a state of emergency due to the virus.
Effective today the University of Alabama System has cancelled university-sponsored international travel departing during the month of March. Regarding university-sponsored international travel beyond March, those decisions will be assessed as public health conditions warrant.
